We specialize in organic permaculture and sustainable farm experiences on the island of Hawai'i. We are located in Kea'au, halfway between Hilo and Pahoa. Our agritourism visitor programs offer down to earth adventures on our little  farm.

We have hands-on experiences working with nature. You can choose to help in the gardens, work with the animals, gather plants, make a lei, learn to do a Lomilomi massage, or do an art or writing project. We offer 2, 3 and 4 hour programs depending on your time frame. Just let us know your availability and we will be happy to schedule a visit for you!

This is the very farm that inspired artist and author Sherri Carden to write the children's book series Mocha Latte' with a Dash of Chili. You can meet Mocha Latte' (the miniature donkey), Dash (his best friend, the goat) and Chili Dog lives just down the street.

You will get to know all the critters here: Lucy goose, and her friends Fred and Ethel, Bunny Cakes,  Cocoa Nibs and Oreo (pictured above), Tooderpaws, Sashimi, Mr. Bean other friendly critters. Perhaps you will be inspired to create a story or two of your own!

Depending on what is in season, activities include hands-on projects which include harvesting native healing herbs, gourmet Hawaiian tea, macadamia nuts,  oranges, tangerines, lemons, guavas, surinam cherries, dragonfruit, breadfruit, avocados, coffee, salad greens, sprouts and more.

We also have many projects going on which involve planting, digging, clearing, and many activities to promote sustainability and a healthy lifestyle. Let us know if you like to get dirty!

This sanctuary is the location setting for Farm Diva Sherri Carden's "Beautiful Day" Farm-Improvement Show. Her television series  features planting, growing, farm tasks, do-it yourself projects and cooking from the Island of Hawai'i. Featuring (of course) Mocha Latte', Dash and the other critters.
